The GefenPRO 8 DVI Extender over One Fiber-Optic Sender module can be installed in any one (or all) of the output slots on a GefenPRO Modular Matrix, allowing DVI signals to be extended up to 6600 feet (2000 meters). Install the Sender module(s) into the GefenPRO Modular Matrix output slot(s). Connect one strand of multimode SC fiber from each fiber optic connector on the Sender module to each Receiver unit. Connect the power supply to the DC jack on the Receiver unit, then connect the power supply to an available electrical outlet. Power up the source(s), the display(s), and the GefenPRO Modular Matrix. NOTE: Additionally the GefenPRO DVI LWL Receiver (GEF-DVI-1FO-R) is required.
