The Extron DDTX DVI & DDRX DVI is a DVI Transmitter/Receiver pair of products for long-distance transmission of single link DVI signals. Using the DDTX DVI and DDRX DVI, DVI signals can be transmitted up to 330 feet (100 m) using Extron RG6/SHR-4 coaxial cable or 150 feet (45 m) using Extron RG59/HR coaxial cable, while the bidirectional DDC Display Data Channel can be carried over Extron CTL Series cable. The DDTX DVI and DDRX DVI can also transmit HDMI - High Definition Multimedia Interface signals with optional Extron HDMI-DVI adapters. The DDTX DVI is housed in a 1U, half rack width metal enclosure. The DDRX DVI receiver is housed in a compact enclosure that is small enough to be mounted near the display.
