The Extron SW2 VGA DA2 AF R is a combination active switcher and distribution amplifier with stereo audio. It provides two inputs and dual, independently buffered outputs. This mountable combination switcher/distribution amplifier provides 300 MHz (-3 dB) RGB video bandwidth and is compatible with VGA-QXGA signals. The SW2 VGA DA2 AF R is a one box solution for professional presentation environments. It has two female 15-pin HD connectors for computer-video and audio inputs — one on the front panel for easy laptop hookup and one on the rear panel for PCs installed in a fixed location. Two female 15-pin HD outputs and one balanced/unbalanced stereo audio output on a captive screw connector are located on the back panel for connection to display devices such as a preview monitor and a projector. In addition, the SW2 VGA DA2 AF R can be both rack-mounted and furniture-mounted. The 1U metal enclosure ships with detachable ears for rack mounting. This switcher features an internal international power supply with an unswitched power connector, eliminating the need for costly electrical wiring to podiums, tables, and other installation surfaces. Two spaces for AAP - Architectural Adapter Plates provide optional connection access for most peripheral equipment, including RJ-45 and RJ-11 phone and data jacks. The SW2 VGA DA2 AF R also features tactile switch buttons with LEDs, and can be remotely controlled via contact closure. It offers both a manual and an auto-input switching mode.
